The Grundy Economic Development Council is a non-profit organization, supported by private business and individual memberships, committed to:

* Maintaining and attracting jobs which will allow and encourage the young people of Grundy County to remain.

* Retaining the current employment opportunities and adding quality jobs whereby citizens can earn sufficient income to support their families.

* Preserving and enhancing the quality of life now enjoyed by Grundy County citizens.

* Promoting communication and cooperation between business and education to insure that citizens are prepared to be productive members of society.

* Respecting the general character of the County, while realizing growth that is consistent with the County Land Use Plan.
