  Grundy County is home to the Grundy Area Vocational Center (GAVC) which provides career training programs for high school students in a variety of occupational fields.  Programs at GAVC are designed to meet the needs of local industry and prepare for the demands of tomorrow’s changing workforce.  Course offerings include:

  Serving as a partner in higher education and workforce training, Joliet Junior College (JJC) serves Grundy County as a comprehensive community college that provides occupational education, business and industry training, and pre-baccalaureate programs for students transferring to a four-year university.
